2. Can I use the Octopus services over a laptop or desktop computer?
Yes, simply set up the Octopus SoftPhone to any of your extensions and have high end business phone services online, right over your computer. Only $29.99 for basic (VoIP, IM & Presence) and $44.99 for the enhanced console (with video).
3. If I travel or move will this effect my connection to Octopus services?
No, your service will still be available to you provided there is accessible Internet.
4. Will there be any interference between Octopus services and my other use of the Internet?

6. Will I be charged for my Intra-company calling?

7. Can I keep my existing telephone handsets?

8. Do I need to have a computer plugged into my Polycom IP Phone to be able to use the telephone?
No, you can plug your phone directly into your Internet connection jack and access you Octopus services without requiring a computer at all.
9. Can I keep my existing telephone numbers?
Yes, your numbers are yours and your current supplier has a process through which you can assign them to your Octopus service. Alternatively, we can provide new numbers for toll free service and most North America calling areas.
10. Is a PBX installed at my business premises?
No, the Octopus Business Phone System is virtual! All of the communication services are provided from our secure servers and are automatically updated when Octopus launches new features to the market.
